WATER CONTROLS & PUMP SYSTEMS Is seeking a Qualified FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN to help us both support existing projects and develop new customers ON THE ISLAND OF HAWAII. The majority of work is on the Kona side.
Water Controls & Pump Systems is a Contractor that specializes in water distribution: Controls, SCADA, Pumps, Hydraulic Valves, Filtration, Piping, and other associated equipment throughout the State of Hawaii
Water Controls & Pump Systems was established in 2006, and has grown into an industry sales, service, and repair leader.
Water Controls has customers throughout the State of Hawaii.
The position does require some travel, and occasional overnight stays, on other islands.
Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work independently.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
5+ years Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician experience of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing controls, pumps, filters, hydraulic valves, and piping for water systems
Proven skills must include decision making, critical thinking, and multi-tasking
Demonstrated ability to cultivate and maintain strong Customer Relationships
Ability to read and troubleshoot using mechanical / electrical drawings and schematics
Ability to read and troubleshoot using PLC program
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS
PLC, VFD, SCADA, Programming Proficiency
Journeyman or Supervisor Electrician License
