Ground Transport, Inc. has School Bus Driver and Special Education Van Driver positions open for the safe transporting of Regular Education and Special Education Students to and from schools in Central and Leeward Oahu.
BUS DRIVERS (Starting Pay $25.00 Per Hour):
⢠Prefer a CDL "B" License with (P) Passenger and (S) School Bus Endorsements. HOWEVER, not required - we offer PAID TRAINING to obtain a CDL License and all CDL fees are paid by the company.
⢠This position is a split schedule to accommodate AM and PM school routes for Regular Education Students. In addition, drivers are assigned to fieldtrips as required by the company.
⢠You will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT Physical (paid by company).
⢠Obtain the following documents: Traffic Abstract and Driver History Record and Negative TB Clearance.
VAN DRIVERS (Starting Pay $17.00 Per Hour):
⢠No CDL license is required for this position. You must be 21 years of age with a valid driver's license. If you wish to obtain a CDL license, WE OFFER PAID TRAINING and all CDL fees are paid by the company.
⢠This Position is a split schedule to accommodate AM and PM curb to curb routes for Special Education Students - Pearl City, Waipahu, Ewa, Ewa Beach and Kapolei areas.
⢠You will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT Physical (paid by company).
⢠Obtain the following documents: Traffic Abstract and Driver History Record and Negative TB Clearance.
⢠Ground Transport, Inc offers on the job training to upgrade to a CDL "C" or "B" license.
