Delivery Driver Wanted for Food Distribution Company
Part Time Position
Days: M-W 7am-3pm. Up to 20 hours per week.
The Delivery Driver position will require pulling and packing the orders and delivering daily to restaurants, hotels and other customers. The delivery driver will also pickup incoming shipments and assist the warehouse manager with receiving products, keeping the stock rooms neat and organized, preparing orders and managing order paperwork.
The Delivery Driver interacts with our customers daily and is essentially on our front line of customer service. The Driver must be friendly, patient and have excellent customer service skills.
The driver must be able to comfortably lift at least 50lbs unassisted, and you must have a valid driver's license. Previous driving and warehouse experience preferred. No CDL needed but you should be comfortable driving a box truck and large delivery van.

Position Title: Gourmet Foods Hawaii Delivery Driver
Supervised By: Operations Manager
Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for performing deliveries, receiving incoming shipments and maintaining the warehouse at Gourmet Foods Hawaii.
Essential Driver Attributes:
Integrity, friendliness, willingness to help customers and coworkers, positive attitude, must be reliable and be able to safely operate company vehicles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
⢠Perform unassisted deliveries in a timely, safe and organized manner in company vehicle.
⢠Offload, receive, organize, store, and maintain inventory.
⢠Manage accurate paperwork for shipments and deliveries
⢠Prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
⢠Set the standard for interaction with all customers by being polite, courteous, professional, and providing service with a smile.
⢠Ensure daily safety and cleanliness of warehouse and all delivery vehicles.
⢠Responsible neatness of warehouse and exterior grounds
⢠All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
⢠Work requires excellent customer service skills and an excellent command of the English language.
⢠Must have valid driver's license.
⢠Must have excellent communication skills
⢠Work requires continual attention to detail and establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to work in the cold for short periods of time.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and walk, stand and drive for most of the day. Work includes manually unloading pallets of loose cargo and placing on shelves in storage.
