We maintain our vehicles and our spaces like our own.Position SummaryResponsible for providing general information and assistance to customers at the time of rental and upon return of their rental.Duties and ResponsibilitiesInteracts with customers at counters to offer assistanceManages the rental line to ensure customers are serviced by the next available Rental AgentGreets customers, completing the necessary rental and location information, while disclosing rates, terms, and conditions of rental, obtaining customer initials and signatures on the contractSells customers incremental sales products (e.g. coverage, toll passes, pre-paid fuel, etc.), explaining the value and cost, enabling the customer to make an informed decisionLiaises with kiosk and fleet parking lot staff to identify vehicle availability to inform customers of vehicle optionsProvides general assistance in person or over the phone to customers regarding where to pick up their vehicle, shuttle locations and processes (where applicable), as well as overall directions to their destination if and when requiredPeriodically may be required to move vehicles, or assist in other operational functions (e.g. supporting Kiosk/Return operations)May be required to assist customers with luggage into and out of the vehicleClean returned rental vehicles as neededOther duties as requiredQualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year in car rental industry preferred, or relevant experience in a customer service environmentExceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills requiredDemonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills in EnglishStrong organizational skills and the ability to multi-taskMust have the ability to manage stressful or unusual situations in order to maintain good customer serviceMust have basic computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office ApplicationsMust be willing to wear company uniformsMust be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's licenseMust have the flexibility to work day and/or evening hours, as well as weekends/holidays as neededMust be authorized to work in the United StatesAbility to communicate in other languages is a plusPhysical Demands:Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs.Must be able to stoop, kneel, and crouchBenefits:Our benefits package goes the distance with 401(k), Medical, Dental, Vision, Paid Vacations, Life & Disability Insurance and more.
