SAIC has an opportunity for a Systems Administrator. This position is located in Pearl City, Hawaii.
The Software, Simulation, System Engineering and Integration (S3I) Directorate, DEVCOM Aviation & Missile Center (AvMC) is supporting the USINDOPACOM and the K. Mark Takai Pacific Warfighting Center on Oahu, Hawaii. This includes Modeling and Simulation (M&S) to support end to end life cycle development and execution, ensuring warfighter readiness and future capabilities are realized.
The Systems Administrator to work within our team, to build out, maintain, and troubleshoot our virtual and physical infrastructure. Candidate must be equipped and able to work in a dynamic and rapidly expanding environment. Qualified systems engineer applicants will have a strong background in IT, computer systems engineering, or systems engineering and analysis. Experience working as or with cloud/network engineers, systems Engineers/administrators, applications engineers, and information assurance is strongly desired.
Candidate is responsible for providing technical support for the Microsoft SQL database environment, to include overseeing development and organization of the databases, assessment, and implementation of new technologies/applications, and providing long-term recommendations or solutions on IT technology, database or capabilities.
