Job Description

Seeking a full-time project manager to join our residential energy efficiency team in Honolulu, HI. The primary role will be to manage residential and community projects in the underserved, hard-to-reach sector to those populations that would benefit the most from our energy efficiency services. You will evaluate project opportunities, actively engage with external stakeholders, and implement projects from conception to completion.
You will be responsible for achieving program metrics and targets and will serve as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. You will review status of projects and budgets. You will coordinate schedules and deliver status reports. You will assess project issues, and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives. You will develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress, and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers.

The position is located in Downtown Honolulu with an available bus subsidy

JOB ACTIVITIES
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.
5+ years of project management experience and fiscal and budgetary aspects of programs and/or projects.


WE VALUE
Experience working with community-based and/or nonprofit organizations, especially in low-income and underserved populations.
Must be versatile and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working across various teams and stakeholders.
Strong writing skills, delivering monthly, annual, and ad-hoc writing assignments, and the ability to translate between various types of stakeholders.
Experienced in public speaking and comfortable delivering internal and external-facing presentations.
Self-motivated to ensure quality throughout all stages of program implementation.
An ability to influence across a broader organization.
A proficient understanding of the principles and best practices in customer service.
