We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in food service and meal preparation, with a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.
Duties:
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Assist in meal preparation for catering events and daily restaurant service.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and safety protocols.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the food industry.
Flat top, grill, and fryer experience/knowledge a must.
Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation, and safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Familiarity with various cooking techniques, equipment, and cuisines.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
