Environmental Engineer, Entry levelTracking Code1142-132Job DescriptionCarollo Engineers is a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm that specializes in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater facilities. We are seeking an entry level Environmental Engineer to join our team in Boise, ID.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform engineering work in water and wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure
Work on engineering planning and design projects
Prepare reports
Develop plans and specifications
Prepare cost estimates for various water and wastewater projects
System modeling
Permitting and alternative analysis
Preparation of technical memoranda, reports and electronic deliverables
Data entry and analysis
Provide engineering services during construction
Participate in field activities such as pilot testing
Required Skills
Application of engineering principles including critical thinking, analysis, and innovative techniques.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Work well in a team environment
Have the ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team
Highly motivated, articulate, and self-starting
Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Required Experience
Master’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, including coursework with an emphasis in hydraulics and physical/chemical water treatment process engineering
Registration as an Engineer-in-Training
Preferred Education and Experience
Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering
AutoCAD
GIS
Water and sewer hydraulic modeling software
