Program Director of Practical Nursing

Job responsibilities:Plans, develops, manages, updates and evaluates all aspects of the program including but not limited to:Nursing program budget Faculty and staff Clinical site liaisonCurriculum development, implementation, and evaluationProgram compliance with Board rules and regulationsStudent advocateProgram policies and procedures Faculty and student handbooksSupplies and equipment to meet program objectivesEnsures program compliance with accreditor rules, standards, and regulationsMaintains student and faculty records in accordance with established policiesAssists with identifying and obtaining outside resources for the nursing programDevelops and implements program policies and proceduresOrganizes and serves on program committeesAccepts other duties as indicated to ensure consistency and meeting needs of students and programsEnsure compliance with clinical agency requirements for student and faculty initiation of clinical rotations Participates in Nursing faculty recruitment, hiring and orientationParticipates in conflict resolution for the faculty, staff, and studentMonitors quality of instruction and participates in faculty and program review, evaluation, and strategic planningMaintains membership and participates in activities of professional associationsAdvises and provide academic support to nursing students as indicated Regular, in-person attendance up to 5 days per week on campus/on site is an essential function of this position.This role requires on-site collaboration with students, faculty, and staff.Other duties as assigned
