DescriptionThe Idaho State Tax Commission is recruiting for a Program Supervisor in its Revenue Operations Division, supervising a Business Analyst, Tax Automated System Specialists and the Electronic Data Management (EDM) unit in Boise. A salary analysis will be conducted for selected candidate for the position.We are seeking motivated applicants with solid supervisory skills and systems experience to lead the Revenue Operations support services team responsible for production maintenance and process improvement. Some important responsibilities is this groups support for Idaho electronic filing initiatives, oversight and outreach to our internal and external software for our developers. Example of DutiesOversee the EDM team, which provides support services for electronic filing applications that process a number of different tax returns

Manage and coach team member's performance by delivering clear job expectations and meaningful ongoing performance feedback

Oversee the timely completion of production and maintenance of system configuration and data transfers

Oversee and coach team members to effectively document processes and set performance measures to monitor and improve processes.

Management Reporting for Revenue Operations systems

Oversee the management of the electronic filing systems for the Division including processing, verification, balancing, and ensuring quality control measures are met

Oversee the electronic taxpayer support function for the Division to include the IBML stability and tech support management

Advise management on security, integrity, and functionality of computer systems and software

Minimum QualificationsSome knowledge of management practices; electronic transaction processing. Experience: developing procedures and monitoring a budget; supervising staff; providing liaison with customer/provider groups; interpreting federal or state regulations.If you previously applied for a Program Supervisor position and wish to be considered for this position, you must re-apply under this announcement. Include in your response any management training/coursework, and/or work experience in a management position. Typically gained by completion of one three-credit or equivalent upper division college-level course OR successful completion of at least 60 hours of management training that included all the essential elements of management (Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling) OR at least one year of work experience including all elements of management. The BSU sponsored Center for Management Development classes and/or Certified Public Manager (CPM) training would qualify. 02 Please describe your experience giving you some knowledge of electronic transaction processing. Typically gained by approximately one year of work experience designing or using an electronic transaction processing system at a level which required needs analysis or in-depth knowledge. 03 Describe your experience supervising staff.
