Key products include immunoglobulins, alpha-1 antitrypsin, albumin, clotting factors and specialty products.Job Title: Regional Operations ManagerThe Regional Operations Manager (ROM) will be responsible for the assigned region. Assist Director of Operations in creating and maintaining appropriate organizational environment and value system, which stimulates the morale and productivity of the facilities in the region.

Assist the Director of Operations in providing strategic direction and planning and customer focus for the facilities in the region.

Monitor and evaluate operation of facilities and Facility Manager to ensure that facilities are in full compliance with State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, OSHA, CLIA, CGMP, as well as all internal company procedures, in-process controls; feedback to Director of Operations that is relevant and timely.

Maintain open and positive lines of communication with Facility Manager.

Maintain thorough familiarity of State and Federal Regulations, FDA approved Standard Operating Procedure Manual, OSHA, CLIA, CGMP, internal company procedures, and stay informed of external events that could affect the organization and its future operation.

Visit facilities as needed.

Assist Facility Manager with technical and administrative questions.

Maintain all skills and flexibility necessary to manage a donor center in the absence of the Facility Manager.

Assist Facility Manager in any necessary tasks in pursuit of company objectives.

Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

B.S. / B.A. degree with two (2) years of multi-site plasma center experience. Or five (5) years of plasma center management experience.

Evaluation and/or translation of any foreign education (high school, university, or professional training) must be provided.

Must have legible handwriting.

Ability to read and write the English Language.

Must have an aptitude to operate computer software.

Attributes:Work is performed in an office and/or a laboratory/manufacturing environment. Exposure to biological fluids with potential exposure to infectious organisms. Exposure to electrical office equipment. Exposure to extreme cold below 32

, miscellaneous production chemicals, moving machinery and production equipment. Exposure to high levels of noise on production floor. Personal protective equipment required such as protective eyewear, garments and gloves. Frequently sits for 6-8 hours per day. Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists. Occasionally walks. Occasionally bends and twists neck. Light to moderate lifting and carrying objects with a maximum lift of 35lbs. Frequently drives to site locations with occasional travel within the United States. Able to communicate complex information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences. Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Frequently interacts with others, relates sensitive information to diverse groups. Must work with diverse groups to obtain consensus on issues. Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues.
