The award winning Mizpah Hotel in Tonopah Nevada seeks an experienced, hands on Executive Chef.
Key skills/experience needed : 3-5 years experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Chef, computer skills to include Microsoft office with an emphasis on Excel.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and assisting staff in all phases of kitchen operations in a fast paced café environment as well as occasional upscale parties and events. The Executive Chef will be responsible for ordering and receiving of product ensuring proper quality, acceptable food cost and overall profitability of restaurant operations in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Manager. The Executive Chef will foster an environment of positive reinforcement and teaching and training of kitchen staff.
Tonopah is located in a rural area in the high desert of Nevada and can be ideal for someone who enjoys small towns and being away from the big city. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to research the area prior to applying.
