Foxtail Senior Living is a new, luxury Assisted Living and Memory Care Community in Eagle seeking to expand its nursing department. We are looking for an RN to be a Resident Care Manager. This position works closely with our other nurses and reports directly to our Administrator.
Job Description
1. Performs all responsibilities related to RN delegation of nursing tasks.
2. Assist with initial assessment of residents
3. Monitor physician order/laboratory results and assures correct implementation
4. Monitors charting to assure appropriate employee response to issues and to determine need for RN assessment.
5. Monitors resident incident reports and assists Administrator as needed with incident reports.
6. Advises care staff concerning resident health issues, by telephone if not in facility (on-call rotation with other nurses)
7. Assesses residents as necessary, addressing physical, emotional and social issues.
8. Assist in the development of care plans, assuring heath service issues, as well as other service issues that potentially impact upon health are effectively addressed.
9. Performs self-administration medication assessment for all independent residents.
10. Conduct the daily nursing functions in accordance with current rules and regulations of the State of Idaho and enforce the facilities policies and procedures that govern the nursing department.
Education and Experience
Must have, as a minimum, 1 year of experience in nursing. Prefer Assisted Living experience.
Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in the state of Idaho.
Must pass pre-employment background check.
