We are a small, fast-paced vet clinic in Eagle, and we are looking for an experienced vet assistant. Must have a minimum of one year work experience at a vet clinic.
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds, safely restrain animals, take medical history and vitals, trim nails, express anal glands, monitor anesthesia, assist in blood draws, place I.V catheters, run basic lab work and have general knowledge of a vet clinic's day-to-day operation.
Must be detailed oriented, compassionate, have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
Wage will depend on experience. We also offer paid vacation, health care benefits, discounted vet services and products.
This is a full time position, working Mon-Thurs 7:45 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Fri 8:00 - 3:30
