Hartman Farms is a diverse, irrigated, row crop farm in southwest Idaho, who's focus is in seed crops and onions. We are looking for individuals with experience in the agricultural industry, who are self-motivated, reliable and can work independently and as part of a team. Applicants must have a valid drivers license, be able to lift 75 lbs, and be willing to work long hours during planting season and harvest. Individuals must have basic mechanical skills, equipment safety awareness and be able to pass a drug test. A pickup will be assigned for work related tasks and daily irrigation.
Responsibilities Include but not limited to:
Help with planting, cultivating, harvest and ground work
Daily Irrigation (siphon tubes, drip irrigation, center pivots DOE)
Operation of Pickups Tractors, Trucks, Forklifts and Harvesters
Semi Truck driving to help move equipment and help with harvest
Able to diagnose equipment problems
Help keep equipment serviced and operating
Understand how to run and operate computers
Basic math skills
Knowledge in the following areas is beneficial.
- Class A CDL
- John Deere Green Star GPS
- Lindsey Field net Center Pivots
- Drip Irrigation
- Welding
- Backhoe operator experience
- Chemical Applicators License
