We are primarily knife makers producing high end custom knives in extremely high demand. We produce them in two machine shops located on 20 acres of land in Idaho City along with a mobile home park, where most of our employees also live. Our business has really exploded over the last few years, and we’re looking to welcome the newest member onto the team.
We really prefer people to relocate to the property. There is onsite housing that can start off as temporary, and if everyone feels it’s a good fit, become permanent.
This position would start off with multiple roles including, but not limited to general park upkeep maintenance and handywork, light construction, home renovation projects, as well as mechanic work, and ensuring property upkeep throughout the year (spraying weeds in the summer, prepping for winter, chopping & stacking wood, etc).
We are a small, family owned business that really believes in personal freedom, as well as incentivizing and rewarding our employees. Starting wage is $10- $14 an hour depending on experience and skillset, and there is ample opportunity for growth. Once we have a good idea of what your skillset is, you’d most likely have a more permanent position according to your strengths.
Increase in wages can happen quickly.
While prior experience is appreciated, we care more about the willingness to learn and excitement to do something most people don’t get the opportunity to do; live in the mountains, and work in a relaxed yet driven environment with some really cool people, making some of the most sought-out knives in the industry.
Onsite housing available.
Onsite training will be offered for all tasks, as well as additional online courses for continuing education relative to your position and growth at no additional cost to you, but that must be completed on your own time.
