What Youll Be Doing the Role
Onsite installation/removal of windows and doors.
Properly fill out installation or service paperwork upon completion.
Service existing Renewal by Andersen products.
Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions.
Document solutions for future reference & training purposes.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics.
Understands and adheres to the established Renewal by Andersen processes and standards.
Assist with training, if needed.
Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and /or alternate techniques.
Maintain great relationship with customer before, during and after installation.
What Were Looking For
2 years of general carpentry experience.
3 years of replacement window installation, measuring & carpentry finishing experience helpful.
Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
Have knowledge of basic liner and casing installation including picture frame and sill/apron methods.
Basic enclosure of openings such as proper framing, insulation, siding and drywall patching.
Installation of new headers and framing support.
Demonstrate analytical problem solving and decision-making skills.
Solid communication skills; ability to work directly with customers and address any needs at the jobsite.
Clear and readable written documents, graphics, drawings and messages.
Proven organizational skills; prioritize and organize tasks efficiently and effectively.
Ability to dismantle and reassemble windows, window coverings and hardware.
Ability to maintain perspective in resolving conflicts.
Willingness to work variable work hours, adapt to schedule changes and accept process changes.
Proven customer resolution skills.
Ability to be flexible to changing work conditions and assignments, and work well within a team.
Follow proper safety procedures and protocols utilize all "Personal Protective Equipment" on jobsites.
High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
