Verity Property Management, Inc. is looking to hire a skilled maintenance technician to join our amazing team of property management specialists. We are looking for someone who becomes a trusted and valued asset and can provide outstanding customer service to our residents and property owners. We are a team-oriented company with a collective goal to address the maintenance needs of each property in a timely and effective manner. Our ideal candidate must be courteous and professional with office staff, vendors and residents.

Our Maintenance Technicians are important members of our team with our ultimate goal and duty to properly maintain the apartment complexes we manage. They are responsible for maintaining the physical condition of the interior and exterior of the apartment complexes, communicating effectively with other staff members and supervisors about the maintenance needs of each property they are assigned too, maintaining cost-effective control over the daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance expenses for each property. They must exercise good judgement on a daily basis and ask questions to the appropriate party when they are unsure of how to handle a particular situation.

Verity manages various residential apartment complexes throughout the Boise and Nampa areas. We are currently looking to fill a position in Nampa. Verity Property Management is a full-service property management, founded in 1976. We specialize in the management of Multi-Family Residential, Commercial and Home Owners Associations.

Various job duties are including the following but not limited to:

Completing assigned work orders in a timely manner and by deadlines established by the property manager, corporate office or property owner.

Completing basic grounds clean up and inspections on a daily basis. Communicating any known maintenance issues to your supervisor in a timely manner.

Ability to Trouble-shoot basis HVAC, Plumbing, Appliance and Electrical systems.

Perform Bi-annual inspections of each assigned apartment to your portfolio.

Performing turn over maintenance work, including re-keying of locks, in newly vacant apartments within a timely fashion for new residents to move-in.

Ensure the overall property condition in on par with our company standards and applicable laws and ordinances.

Documenting work performed associated with each assigned work order.

Turning in work orders by the end of business each day to your property manager.

Communicating effectively with the Property Manager about the maintenance needs of each property.

Must be available to participate in our 24-hour emergency maintenance rotation.

Adhere to the company established safety policies and procedures.

Job Requirements & Experience:

Must have a valid Drivers License and reliable transportation.

Pass the criminal & credit background check as well as the drug screening test.

Must be willing to commute throughout the Treasure Valley to various properties on occasion.

Must have sufficient writing skills to complete required daily, weekly and monthly paperwork.

Must be a team player, problem solver, good reasoning and excellent customer service skills.

Apartment Complex Maintenance experience is a plus!

Must be willing to adhere to the companys drug-free policy and complete and pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Job Schedule:

Monday thru Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour of unpaid lunch.

Must be available to participate in 24-hour maintenance on-call rotation.

$40.00 per month in cellphone reimbursements
