Ste. Chapelle winery is currently seeking a reliable Warehouse Employee.
Normal schedule is Monday to Thursday 7 a.m to 5:30 p.m. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!
Responsibilities:
Forklift operator- Maintain warehouse organized
Warehouse- will be in charge of all shipping and receiving. Also includes working with tasting rooms in stock room.
Inventory- must keep all materials accurately counted and organized
Supervision- This person will report to Production Manager. Must be competent to oversee one or two other co-workers
Training- all training will be provided. Must be competent to train new employees on warehousing, if necessary.
Documentation- Maintain organized documentation on all tasks performed, including but not limited to: Bill of Lading, orders, inventory sheets, product tags, etc
Applicants must have a minimum of one year previous production equipment operation experience. Must own a reliable source of transportation.
Candidate must be reliable, able to work overtime, and occasional Fridays or Saturdays. Hours will change during Harvest Season.
Skills required:
- Prior warehousing and inventory experience
- Good basic math
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Able to multitask
- Self-starter and able to work with minimum supervisor
- Follow instructions and complete task efficiently
- Fast thinker and good at troubleshooting
- Good reading and writing skills
- Organized
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Other:
Experience is a HIGH PLUS
Forklift experience with Certification is a plus
Must pass a screening test
Pay depends on experience—(will be discussed at time of interview)
