DESCRIPTION:

Front office position at NorthStar Physical Therapy which requires interaction with the public and other employees and multi tasking. Primary job duties of accepting and applying patient payments, insurance verification and authorizations, electronic billing, applying insurance payments, creating monthly patient statements, problem solving billing errors or denials, and all tasks associated with management of accounts receivable. Other duties may include answering the phone, greeting clients, scheduling clients, and other general office tasks/paperwork. Will be interacting, communicating and working with other office staff and therapists so must be a team player. Must be willing to see and do what needs to be done without being directed.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience with EMR, electronic insurance billing, insurance verification and authorizations, applying payments, and creating patient statements. PREFER EXPERIENCE WITH WEBPT and THERABILL.

Friendly and professional communication on the phone and in person

Professional appearance

Previous medical receptionist or customer service experience

Detail oriented

Self guided and motivated to complete work independently

Ability to multi-task

Works well in a team environment

Reliable attendance to work

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Some flexibility in number of hours and time/days worked may be available depending on employee's needs. Days worked would be Monday-Friday only. Position is for 30-40 hours per week depending on desired hours by applicant.

Wage DOE and applicants qualifications. Benefits include paid holidays and earned leave.
