Hello, my name is Katya Difani and I am an herbalist, trained from my upbringing on a ranch in Montana and formerly at Bastyr University's Herbal Science program. My passion runs deep for nature, plants, and connecting people to the healing power plants and other healing tools that can assist on their journey. I have owned and operated a retail herb business called Herban Wellness in Kirkland, Washington for the past nine years, going on ten. I love helping people in this regard, and I realize in order to actualize more of Herban Wellness' potential and my dreams for myself, I need support.
I need my "right hand person" and leader at Herban Wellness to run the day-to-day operations of my physical and online shop, while holding a space of healing, positive energy, and a warm, inviting environment.
This will allow me the freedom to do more outreach, marketing, focus on the bigger picture of Herban Wellness as well as the other aspects I am developing in business for myself. This includes creation of online content, videos, perhaps filming and marketing my classes, and growing and scaling a wholesale product and solutions company, EOS Healing, with a business partner. Eventually, Herban Wellness may become part of a truly wholistic Wellness Center, and by helping Herban Wellness continue to grow and thrive, we can better achieve this goal.

This is a new position at Herban Wellness, and here is what I am picturing. I see this as a full-time, salaried position where you work at Herban Wellness on the floor 25-30 hours/week and do back-office projects and behind the scenes work outside of regular hours, or in the back office, or even potentially from home for the other 10-15 hours/week. You fill in when staff members are sick or on vacation, you find great staff to hire and work with when the need arises, and you manage inventory, create displays, organize daily and weekly projects for yourself and Herban Wellness staff. You work closely with me to realize my vision for the retail space and customer service, but you also find your own rhythm and systems.
