Looking for caregiver/ CNA in the Pocatello area for a private client in a Certified Family Home Environment. Monday through Friday or Weekends, NO Holidays. Job is working with an older woman with disabilities, helping her with personal care services, daily life skills and companionship in and out of the family home. Needing someone responsible and mature who can devote their energy to the job without distractions.
Responsibilities:
Follow through with client care as indicated on the care plan, assist with activities of daily living, bathing, dressing, some housekeeping, preparing meals, laundry, exercise, build relationship and trust with client. Participate in activities with client in and outside of the home.
Minimum Qualification Requirements:
Must be 21 years or older, must have personal transportation, proof of insurance on transportation or good driving record. Compassionate and caring demeanor, strong work ethic; positive attitude. Must be physically able to perform the job which includes lifting, standing for long periods of time, assistance and legible penmanship. Must have a current background check with Health & Welfare or be able to obtain one, current CPR & First-Aid Certification and previous experience in home care (preferred) not required.
Mornings/Afternoons/Weekends Flexible work schedule weekly - Monday - Sunday 8:00am to ? Flexible FULL-TIME 40 hrs. weekly. Job is hourly and mileage with own car.
