Battery Engineer
We need someone to help us make batteries that we sell online to customers and companies all over the world. As this is a very specific skill were willing to teach and train as needed. Pay will depend on your skill level and will increase as your skills and independence increases.
At a starting level were looking for someone who can follow clear build instructions and use basic tools to build battery packs. At the highest level (were willing to teach and train you to do this!) were needing someone who can design, build, wire, package, and test a battery pack including technologies such as BMS (battery management system) and other circuits.
Requirements
Personality is very important to us, more so than your current skills. Were looking for someone who is:
- Positive and enthusiastic
- Has a general sense of urgency and drive
- Happy to learn / willing to teach
- Very detail oriented
- Has a stewardship / owner attitude
- High level integrity and honesty
- Dependable and trustworthy
Legal
- Must be a US citizen
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Must be available from 8am to 5pm
- Must be able to work from business location in Chubbuck, Idaho
- Must be very detail oriented as were working with expensive, sensitive and sometimes dangerous tools and supplies
Pay and hours
- Position is currently part time (about 15 hours / week) but we expect to grow to full time by the end of August 2019 depending on business growth and your skills
- Hourly wage ranges from $10 to $25 depending on skills and training
- We want to develop you as quickly as possible and have a clear map to help you get to the top of this positions earning potential.
