THE COMPANY:
Teton Webstores LLC; we are an e-commerce company that private labels and sells products online. We source our products from manufacturers in China and Korea, which are then sold through our own ecommerce sites and Amazon. Our in house team handles everything from marketing, product development, shipping, and customer service for our products.
Even though this is a shipping job, you will learn about some of the inner workings of a small business that private labels products and sells them online. We private label our products under several brand names and sell on multiple amazon accounts (including Amazon Canada and Europe). One of our product lines is a lip balm brand that has 30,000 followers on Instagram and we wholesale them to over 150 retail shops. All lip balms are currently products by hand in the warehouse.
THE ENVIRONMENT:
We are a small company with a relaxed atmosphere (currently only 2 employees work at the warehouse). Our warehouse is located out on the Sugar/Salem high (by the drive-in). There is an office area that is air conditioned and heated; the main warehouse space is heated but not air conditioned.
WORK HOURS (full time):
35-40hrs/week
NOTE - This is a FULL time position. We need the applicant to be available to work Monday-Friday 9am-5pm. The person that fills this position may eventually become the Manager of shipping. We need at least a 1-year time commitment.
PRIMARY POSITION DUTIES:
- Daily shipments - pull, pack, & ship / order management / shipping rate checks
- Initial fraud checks - screen orders for unusual activity
- Preparation & sending product into Amazon’s FBA warehouse
- Manage shipping related tickets within our customer service software
- Handling, organizing, and counting inventory
SECONDARY POSITION DUTIES (part time shipping employee also performs below duties):
- Handle and Process returned products (for warranty or refund)
- Testing open box items and preparing them for reselling as open box/used items
- Quality control testing - prescreening new stock for quality issues
- Applying SKU labels to products
- Misc projects / general labor
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Work efficiently and independently
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to learn/be trained
- Must have a vehicle/transportation
- An attitude of wanting to help improve our current shipping procedures/processes
PAY:
Starting @ $10/hr
