Responsibilities
⢠Inspect equipment for proper performance, and to detect faults and malfunctions
⢠Diagnose faults or malfunctions and determine the extent of repair required
⢠Repair or replace defective parts, components or systems
⢠Test equipment for proper performance
⢠Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment
⢠Service attachments and working tools
⢠Perform repair work on heavy trucks, including:
- Provide technical service to vehicles
- Perform general and detailed repair on all trucks, engines and equipment.
- Overhaul diesel engines.
⢠Develop and maintain positive relationships with employees and equipment operators
⢠Manage shop inventory and orders
⢠Responsible for keeping shop clean and organized.
