Specialty Electrical Group, LLC (www.segroupllc.net), established
low voltage electrical contractor in Boise, has one opening for a low
voltage electrician.
We install and service the following:
Fire Alarm
Security
Nurse Call
CCTV
Telephone/Data systems
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform installation activities per scope, prints, and specifications on
electrical fire alarm systems, access control and security systems.
Responsible for meeting customer expectations while performing installations.
Coordinate with contractors/end users during the process of system installation.
Meet or exceed budget goals for completing installation projects.
Perform system commissioning on systems, including programming and testing of panels and devices.
Perform troubleshooting, service and repairs as required.
Supervise apprentices and provide training to them.
Communicate regularly and effectively.
Perform all work in a safe, productive, and efficient manner.
Maintain company vehicle in a clean and operable condition.
Maintain licenses and certifications as appropriate.
All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years of experience installing fire alarms, security systems, CCTV and access control
systems.
Idaho specialty electrical license Desired.
NICET certification highly desired
Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
Excellent references required.
Attention to detail and drive to complete professional installations on-time and on-budget.
Commitment to continuing education.
Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and routine details.
Must be able to work in construction site environments, lift 50 pounds, use power tools, and climb
scaffolds & ladders.
Computer skills are necessary to include Windows applications.
Team oriented, multi-task ability, self-starter, flexible, with a steadfast work ethic.
Successful candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check,
and complete a successful check of references.
