Qualifications / Work Experience:
- Experience in tractor/trailer maintenance. Must have own tools and tool-box.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and close familiarity with required tools.
- Ability to work independently or with direction; available for work on nights and weekends as needed.
- Basic understanding of tractor and trailer mechanicals including vehicle electrical systems, electrical hazards; braking, steering, suspension, and pumping systems. Willing and able to learn hydraulics, cryogenic systems, diagnostics, and other systems as required.
- Comfortable learning and navigating various systems and software packages for research, training, documentation, work instruction, forms completion, etc. Sufficient computer familiarity to download diagnostic software, complete online training, and perform various basic functions including email.
