JOB SUMMARY
The Certified Nursing Assistant partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care.4 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit. It provides needed care to those residents needing long term placement in a home-like environment. JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:
Graduate of Maine State Board approved CNA course
Valid on the State of Maine CNA registry
Experience:
1-3 years previous CNA experience preferred
Will consider new CNA's with relevant work experience
Other Skills Required:
Medical terminology preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
The ability to work well within a team of other care providers
Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours/day, 7 days per week
Flexibility to float to other units as needed
