JOB SUMMARYThe purpose of this position is to obtain accurate demographic, financial, diagnostic and insurance data and enter data into electronic medical records to initiate claims processing. The Patient Registrant strives to minimize patient arrival time to treatment area, improving customer satisfaction as it relates to registration process, wait time and general communications. The patient registrant will greet all patients, visitors and customers in a friendly, helpful manner. JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Registration, billing and Epic experience is preferred
Strong customer service skills required
Experience using an electronic medical records system preferred
Other Skills Required:
Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to type 50-60 words per minute
Ability to multi-task
Highly organized
