Inland Foundation Specialties (IFS) provides a variety of ground improvement methods including but not limited to deep foundation drilling, earth retention systems, piling, and soil improvements. IFS's main headquarters is in beautiful Boise, Idaho which is continually voted one of the best places to live and raise a family. IFS service's many clients in the Northwest: from private, public, government, industrial to commercial.
Drill Operator to proficiently operate drill rigs, manage crew and coordinate with customer in order to accomplish the project requirements in a safe and efficient manner while upholding the standards of IFS.
ESSENTIAL DUITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
â¢ Travel in the Northwest region. Due to the travel requirements relocation to Boise may not be required.
â¢ Operating hydraulic drills.
â¢ Experience in operating heavy-duty equipment: excavators, forklifts, mini-excavators, and trucks.
â¢ Direct daily onsite crew assigned to the project.
â¢ Responsible to maintain safe working environment, and follow IFS and OSHA standards.
â¢ Coordinate with Project Managers on project needs.
â¢ Works harmoniously with peers, supervisors, and the public and complies with IFS's policies.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
â¢ Operating heavy equipment.
â¢ Proper use and understanding of crane rigging and signaling.
â¢ Drill tools and equipment.
â¢ Self-motivated and willing to challenge themselves.
License(s) or Certification(s) Required:
â¢ Valid Driver's License, with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL.
â¢ Medical Card.
â¢ Certifications: Forklift, Manlift, Truck, Rigging, signalperson, 10-hour OSHA, etc. or the ability to obtain them. In- house training and certification may be available.
â¢ NCCCO Crane certification is preferred but not required; in house training and certification may be available.
â¢ Welding Experience and preferably Certifications.
