Job Description Primary Location:Nampa, IdahoProduction Warehouse Supervisor: Supervises warehousing activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisor(s).ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Establishes operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.

Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment. Prepares work order for repairs and requisitions for replacement of equipment.

Orders assigned production raw materials.

Takes a leading role to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production and maintenance.

Directs salvage of damaged or used material.

Completes all required Food Safety and GMP training and demonstrates compliance on a continual basis.

Coordinates with the Plant Manager to implement changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of equipment, department, or work crews.

Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems.

Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of equipment, department, or work crews.

Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.

Wears company provided uniform and required sanitation and safety devices as appropriate to comply with safety and sanitation standards for beverage production operations.

Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESCarries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include assisting general manager in hiring; training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Supervises 4 to 8 subordinate employees.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEOne year certificate from college or technical school plus three years’ experience; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIESProficient in operating forklift.COMPETENCIESAttention to Detail, Communication, Food Processing, GMP/Food Safety Leadership, Problem Solving, Safety, Self-Management, Teamwork, Technical Problem Solving CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSForklift Certification preferred, willing to train.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully per- form the essential functions of this job.
