: 40 Description Zions Bank is now accepting resumes for our Business Banker position in Merdian, Idaho. The ideal candidates for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
Be Responsible for generating and servicing a wide variety of business loans.
Contributes to deposit growth by cross selling and promoting additional banking products.
Aggressively seeks and obtains quality new business through client and prospect calls, referrals, and cross selling efforts.
Requires skills and experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment, loan structuring, credit analysis, and monitoring credit performance.
Responsible for building and maintaining relationships, with a resulting high degree of customer satisfaction.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in banking, finance or a related field and 2+ years commercial lending or other directly related experience.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may meet qualifications.
Working knowledge of commercial loans, credit analysis, lending, loan processing and closing processes.
Ability to expand commercial loans, client relationships and cross sell bank products.
Requires solid sales ability.
Solid experience in applicant interviewing and perceptive character judgment skills.
Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
Must have solid interpersonal and communication skills.
Working knowledge of a software applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
Manages a small to medium commercial portfolio.
