Overview
Redox just passed its 25th anniversary and is leading the field in specialty nutrients/fertilizers. Our focus is and has always been on using a sustainable approach to producing the highest quality fertilizers and nutrients for crops. This year, we have released a new line of organic products.
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic software engineer to join our growing development team here in Burley.
What will your job be?
As a developer at Redox you will be responsible for building intuitive interfaces that help our reps/customers learn and sell more effectively. You will be prototyping new features based on customer feedback. The main languages are Ruby On Rails/JavaScript (ReactJS-React Native)/HTML/CSS.
Role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the following:
⢠Design (or with designers) to build and maintain performant, responsive and delightful experiences.
⢠Embrace and champion engineering best practices
⢠Produce clean, high-quality code
⢠Build dynamic interfaces to visualize and represent data in unique ways
⢠Grow the technical skills of other engineers on the team through mentorship, code and design reviews, and writing documentation
Key Qualifications:
⢠5+ years of Ruby on Rails experience (or similar)
⢠5+ years of JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming and ES6.
⢠5+ years of building modern UIs using React, Redux, Webpack, Babel, or similar tools.
⢠Strong understanding and experience with HTML, CSS and dynamic frontend fundamentals.
⢠Possess the ability to think through customer requirements and quickly implement them.
⢠Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks with experience in React.js
⢠Extensive knowledge of modern web-development technologies (HTML5, CSS/SASS, JavaScript, Webpack)
⢠You are passionate about learning and want to help us learn too.
⢠Have the demonstrated ability to ship a high-impact product.
⢠Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
⢠Have good intuition on code quality, user experience, and web design principles.
