Location: Aurora, IL 60507 - Candidate will be remote until COVID restrictions are lifted - position located out of Aurora, IL.
Support development of Electro-Hydraulic technology and validate solutions for internal and external Client customers through:
•Integration of electro-hydraulic components and systems used in client machines,
•Development of system/machine simulation models and associated control algorithms
•System analysis and optimization using data from sensors, on-board models and product analytics.
•Execute computer simulations in support of solving complex engineering problems that will lead to superior performance, durability and quality.
•Emphasis for this position will be on creating and simulating concepts, while supporting development of complex engineering projects.
•Incumbent will use data extraction and analysis as well as visualization strategies to support development of electro-hydraulic products, associated control algorithms and issue resolutions.
•Incumbent will collaborate with other engineers in the team and coordinate analysis, control algorithm development and computer simulation efforts. Incumbent will also prepare and execute development plans and will be responsible for meeting scheduled dates.
It is expected that the incumbent keeps abreast of latest technological advancements in the hydraulic components/systems, controls and applications areas and learns quickly Client processes and tools.
•Bachelor''s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Ag, Aerospace)
Technical Skills Required
•3 Years' experience with Matlab, Simulink, Engineering simulation and modeling
•1-3 years of Hydraulics experience
•Good Controls theory background
•Knowledge of Python, Dynasty, DATK
Soft Skills Required
