Responsibilities
Our Enterprise Technology Department is seeking two software engineers to join the Claims Measures and Experimentation Team. The candidate(s) selected will be part of a team that is building and supporting a new product to assist with development and implementation of designed experiments. As a member of the Claims M&E team, you will be building something new, and have high autonomy over the product and approach to work. You will partner with other ET Claims product teams and our data science colleagues building a product to streamline the experimentation process, test hypotheses, and analyze results for more informed data driven decision-making.

Qualifications
Highly Desired Skills / Knowledge Needed:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related discipline
Applied experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Cloud development, data, tools, and services
Strong software development background and hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g., Java, Python)
Experience with DevOps and CI/CD concepts (GIT, CI/CD pipelines, Automation testing)
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of designed experimentation/AB testing concepts
Object oriented development & design pattern knowledge
Devops knowledge (pipelines, Gitlab, Terraform)
Knowledge of the Linux Operating System
Experience with container technology (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with public cloud services (AWS/Lambda/S3/Dynamo/API Gateway)
Experience writing optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications
