ASSISTANT SALES MANAGER - $35,000 - $70,000 per year

Immediate opening for an exciting career position: We are looking for the right candidate who has at least 2 years automotive sales experience with a proven track record of being a top performer. The ideal candidate for this position will deliver high quality customer service and become a consultant to each customer on finding the vehicle that aligns perfectly with their needs. The ideal candidate will have sales experience and be a motivated individual looking to take the first step towards a career in management. As an Assistant Sales Manager you will be trained to assist the F&I Manager in developing sales agreements that benefit the company as well as the customer. You will also learn and participate with, inventory management, deal structure, helping salespeople close deals, marketing, and new vehicle ordering. This is a full time 50+ hour per week position with Sundays off, and one day off during the week. Saturdays are mandatory. We believe in hard work, commitment to the team and the customer, passion for the business, and going the extra mile. Successful candidates must pass a drug test, background check and have solid references.

Job Duties:

Develop an in-depth understanding of our current car inventory and use that knowledge to encourage customers to make a purchase.

Work with our marketing team to grow our customer base.

Assist in setting up the sales lot or the showroom floor for promotions and to put new models on display.

Work with the Finance Manager to develop sales agreements that benefit the company as well as the customer.

Collaborate with our Sales Manager to offer attractive deals on used vehicles to interested customers.

Skills and requirements:

Must be 18 years of age or older

Must have valid driver's license

Work schedule: 5 Day work week with EVERY Sunday off. One day off during the week. Mandatory Saturdays. Hours vary daily opening at 8:30am and closing between 6 and 8pm depending on day.
