Private tutor for college student taking Math 131 Explorations in Mathematics. Tutor needs to be able to explain and teach math concepts on various levels. Looking for 3 days per week June 3- August 1. Times and location can be worked out with student. Each session 1-2 hours as needed.
The course focuses on mathematical reasoning. Topics include the study of elementary counting techniques and probability, basic statistics, and one or two other topics chosen from the following list: Graph Theory, Linear Programming, Geometry, Logic/Set Theory, Mathematical Modeling, or Finance.
