A very successful, high volume restaurant in Bloomington-Normal is seeking a GM. The restaurant seats over 200 hundred. The GM would be responsible for all aspects of the restaurant and reports directly to the owner.
Duties would include:
Overseeing a large staff, large dining room, bar, catering and banquets.
Oversight of scheduling, inventory, and ordering
Development of Mgt and hourly staff
Managing HR compliance issues, writing policies, and overseeing payroll
Have a good understanding of the restaurant’s financials and be able to maintain monthly/annual budgets
Knowledge of quickbooks, reservations systems, and POS
Candidates should have at least 3 years experience as GM at an independent, high volume restaurant
