News-Gazette Media has 2 openings in Champaign County for Assistant District Manager (ADM) assisting in the home delivery of the daily newspaper, The News-Gazette. This is an 5 days per week position.
Job Description: Our District Managers have a team of news carriers who work for the daily News-Gazette. District Managers recruit, train and monitor carriers and assist in other processes to get our newspaper to each subscriber's property on time and in good condition. An Assistant District Manager helps in accomplishing these functions. An ADM works independently earning an hourly rate, mileage reimbursement, plus vacation and sick pay benefits.
Requirements for Applicants: Able to work hours from 2am-7am. Valid Driver's License, good driving record and proof of vehicle insurance. Must be able to cover routes in Champaign,Urbana and routes outside of Champaign and Urbana.
