Industry leading bearing wholesaler / manufacturer has an immediate opening for an experienced Customer Service Representative.
Primary responsibilities include:
Build and maintain customer relationships
Understand customer expectations on new and repeat orders. Contact customer to clarify orders with incorrect, missing or unclear understanding
Respond to product type, availability and price inquiries
Review and input customer purchase requests / orders
Initiate machine orders and purchase orders for make-to-order products
Follow up on large dollar quotes
Handle customer order change and return requests
Other duties as assigned by manager
Position Requirements:
3-5 years customer service experience with technical products (required)
ability to read general engineering prints (preferred),
experience processing EDI orders (preferred),
excellent communication skills,
good math skills and mechanical aptitude,
accurate computer data entry skills: proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
a motivated team player
minimum high school degree; some college preferred
