The Business Development Organization shares and drives an integrated growth strategy across the largest accounts, the industry sectors, solutions and services, demonstrating and achieving a market leadership through a client centric culture.The opportunityThe Global Account Manager plays a critical account-focused role within the Business Development organization. They work cross-functionally to drive and activate effective account management, bring the full power of EY to our largest accounts and ultimately enable an exceptional client experience that positions EY to win in the market. The Global Manager works closely with account leadership to drive and support account strategy execution, client relationship management, high performance teaming and strategic sales and go-to-market activity. They may or may not work with a Sales Executive.Your key responsibilitiesThe Account Manager aligns to EY's largest and highest priority accounts, typically supporting a portfolio of 1-2 accounts to drive growth and account management excellence. You will be expected to autonomously lead and execute the key activities of EY’s Account Management Framework (AMF), working closely with the global account leadership team. You will operate as the hub of the global account team, serving as a central leader to facilitate global team connectivity and strategic execution. You will be expected to maintain a strong understanding of the client business agenda and related EY capabilities. You will work with the global account team to execute a client-centered approach that results in trusted client relationships and greater EY opportunity. The role balances internal team leadership activity, with some opportunity for client-facing relationship development.Skills and attributes for successAbility to influence without direct authority, frequently providing input to senior account leaders

Ability to operate both internally and externally and on a local and global virtual basis to achieve results

Ability to work with multiple, diverse stakeholders, across multiple channels while connecting common ideas and objectives

Ability to work with minimum supervision and instruction, taking initiative and applying creativity and curiosity

Ability to project manage complex account management projects and processes

Possess diverse skillset and versatility to drive both strategy and execution

To qualify for the role, you must haveApproximately 7-10 years of account management or similar relevant experience, ideally gained within a global multinational company

Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

Effective influencing and relationship building skills with strong executive presence

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Strong attention to detail and sound organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

Bachelor’s degree (emphasis in Marketing or Business preferred) or equivalent experience

Ideally, you’ll also haveExperience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs

Strong business/commercial acumen and an understanding of major industry sector trends

Leadership, facilitation, coaching and mentoring skills

Strategic thinking and analytical skills
