our website atPOSITION SUMMARY:Nuveen is seeking an

Analyst of Investment Operations for the Portfolio Accounting Team. This

function encompasses end-to-end exception management accomplished

through various systematic, written, and verbal interactions with Operational

Teams, Front Office and Middle Office Teams, as well as Custodian Banks.

The primary focus of the position is timely and accurate reconciliation

of accounts across multiple business lines, maintenance of the overall

quality and accuracy of assigned processes, and preparation of ad hoc

statistical reports.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

Monitor Reconciliation Tool andany associated applications daily to ensure all exceptions are captured

Ensure cash and positions forrespective Funds / Portfolios are reconciled accurately, efficiently andon a timely basis with custodians and other external parties, as well asacross multiple internal systems

Develop a significant level ofexpertise of the holdings, terms, and transactions of all Funds /Portfolios to provide intuitive and proactive oversight of same

Upon identifying and analyzingexceptions, ensure necessary, corrective action is assigned to responsibleparties, logged, and prioritized for resolution

Interface with internal andexternal business teams to identify root cause of exceptions

Respond to numerous ad hocrequests from internal and external clients for additional information

Coordinate corrective actionswith appropriate teams

Monitor changes in businessprocesses to ensure Reconciliation Tool and any associated applicationsare updated accordingly

Assist in testing updates toReconciliation Tool and any associated applications

Support metrics reporting

Assist with ad hocrequests and other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:Required Skills:

Bachelor’s degree

Two (2) years’ experience withat least two of the following investment instruments; Fixed Income,Equities, Derivatives, Foreign Exchange.

Experience with reconciliationof cash or assets.

Preferred Skills:

Two (2) years’ experience infinancial services operations

Possess a working knowledge ofsecurities processes, i.e., Corporate Actions, Trade Operations, andSecurities Lending

Experience using MicrosoftOffice suite of products (particularly Excel & Access). Portia,Electra Recon, and Eagle PACE/Star is a plus
