The Specialist III will perform installations of electronic control systems which may include door access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, low voltage communication and fire alarm systems including cable management, electronic locks, Wi-Fi locks, network switches, point sensors, signaling devices and associated hardware.RESPONSIBILITIES:Assists the Project Manager regarding on-site scheduling of work activities and timely delivery of projects.

Manage several medium to large jobs concurrently and doing so within approved hours and margin tolerances.

Completes miscellaneous tasks as assigned by manager.

Advanced ability to read and interpret design drawings including wiring and labeling methodology, system wiring, and cable support installation (Conduit, J-Hook, Raceway, etc.)

Advanced understanding to support and troubleshoot software, typically working with both end users and experienced personnel.

Advanced Administration and programing of Access Control and Video Management application.

Provide basic technical expertise in development and execution Access Control and Video Management.

Advanced Computer skills, with an ability to learn new software programs and terminology

QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, vocational diploma, or equivalency (e.g., GED)

Upon hire, able to obtain required state licensing (Low Voltage, D license, Alarm Installer license, etc.)

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the physical security, fire alarm, or low voltage communication industry installing field devices

Certifications in the following are a plus: Software House, Lenel, S2, BRIVO, Exacq, Milestone, ONSSI, AMAG, Axis, American Dynamics, DMP, Bosch, Avigilon

Good oral and written and interpersonal communication skills

Ability to deliver product familiarization training to end-users

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Project).

Ability and track record of successfully loading servers with 3rd party applications.

Ability and track record of successfully deploying IP video solutions.

Possess general working knowledge of network architecture.

Overnight travel may be required on an as-need basis.
