Job Title: Data Analyst / Engineer with Nifi exp.
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Duration: 6+ Months

Primary Skills: SQL, Hive, BASH, Python, Hadoop, Pig, shell script, nifi, ksh
Responsibilities:

  • Strong Advanced SQL Skills (DB2 Platform) to conduct data profiling, ad hoc data analysis
  • Strong Python skills and Shell scripts and NiFi
  • Ability to summarize and present analysis to business partners and Plans
  • Conduct trending and data modelling
  • Strong critical thinking capabilities, as well as effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills, interpersonal skills ? Customer service support and reporting.
  • Triage and managing the customer inquiries coming to the helpdesk.
  • Competencies:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Ability to collaborate with others Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience leading software development projects
  • Software integration experience
  • Software delivery experience

Required Soft Skills:
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Good documentation skills
  • Proficiency in English language (as a medium of communication)
  • Frank and open communication with peers and higher-ups about realistic estimations and meeting timelines/expectations and proactive communication of issues and concerns thereof
  • Assertiveness in communicating ideas, estimates, scope and timelines
