Within the S&O organization, the Director Business & Sales Operations (BSO) Community role will be accountable for leading Business & Sales Operations Community Leads and their teams globally to maximize impact, productivity, efficiency, and speed needed for optimal operations of each area and subsidiary around the world.ResponsibilitiesGlobal Role Ownership of Business & Sales Operations teams including community leadership & productivity optimization.

Enable critical priorities for Field Operations success including One Commercial GTM and increasing selling time across all MCAPs roles.

Assessing the current state, areas to drive efficiency or reduce waste, and developing and driving a clear strategy, roadmap, and implementation plan to optimize Business & Sales Operations across our commercial business.

Align with key stakeholders across our partnering teams to focus BSO on critical priorities to drive customer success and Microsoft’s share of growth.

Strive for excellence with our Field Operations strategy, simplifying where possible without compromising outcomes.

As a member of the leadership team, model the Microsoft cultural attributes, environment for inclusion, and leadership principles.

QualificationsYou will bring the following capabilities:7+ years of program leadership experience, working with global teams, in operations, services, and/or sales organizations.

Experienced in the development and execution of successful Cloud customer consumption and sales models and understand the market dynamics around customers moving to the cloud.

Experience in change management and leading complex, organization-wide programs.

Passionate about leading others and building cultures centered on accountability and empathy. Enabling communities that are nimble, welcome innovation and risk, celebrate success, and serve as a coach and role model.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal acumen to interact with executives and represent Microsoft in a way that mobilizes customers, partners, and employees; ability to build comprehensive and compelling presentation and communication materials that caters to diverse audiences

Effective analytical and project management skills, to deliver on time and on budget while addressing the needs of competing priorities and deadlines, driving complex projects with quality, speed, and agility.

Strong interpersonal skills including ability to build trust, influence, and relationships with diverse team members, proven track record of ability to impact and influence without direct authority.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to balance varying responsibilities that span rhythm of business, executive management, and culture

Highest levels of integrity and trustworthiness; manages confidentiality without exception

Education: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience

Location/Travel: You may be based anywhere, with flexibility to work with global time zones.
