Incentive Operations Analyst - HUM000637

Responsible for supporting the preparation and maintenance of, comprehensive regional and market sales quotas and analysis for use by Executives, Field Sales Leaders, Frontline Sales Associates, and the Incentive Strategy & Operations team on a regular ongoing basis.

  • Coordinate the end-to-end quota setting process including budgeting, analyzing and reporting on expected post-pay, pre-pay and renewal business results for sales channels
  • Provides support in response to sales leaders for channel specific incentive related issues, questions, and concerns regarding the incentive processes
  • Assists the Lead Incentive Operations Anaylst in creating dashboards and analysis to use for communication of complex quota methodology and administration process for the sales leaders and executives
  • Participate in incentive plan effectiveness reviews and aid in the development and updating of incentive metrics and data models that are flexible enough to adapt to a rapidly changing sales environment
  • Participate in user acceptance testing of system changes and provide feedback around testing scenarios, system configuration, and participant dashboards
  • Assist the Lead Incentive Operations Analyst and Senior Manager, in providing ad-hoc and strategic analytical support to the assigned channel/market on productivity and financial measures
  • Research monthly financial results and compensation data to develop key performance and financial metrics related to sales associate performance
  • Provide detailed peer review of information developed for sales leaders and executives prior to distribution
  • Work with field sales leadership as well to ensure quota adjustment requests are timely, appropriate, and financially responsible
  • Assist in the development of the monthly trend analysis, monitor key performance indicators and business drivers and provide input as to how to improve performance in specific areas
  • Support the Lead Incentive Operations Analyst for trending analysis by synthesizing transaction-level data and high-level sales and financial reporting at store, market and regional level
  • Audit field deliverables and develop trending analysis of incentive component weighting calculations


  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, accounting or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in sales operations or finance position
  • Data analysis experience
  • Excellent financial, analytical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to synthesize various, independently generated, data points into a cohesive analysis
  • Attention to detail and accuracy/integrity of data required
  • Ability to multi-task and manage shifting priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel aptitude
  • Excellent organizational skills required
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills required
  • Experience in creating presentations, particularly materials for a field sales audience
  • Wireless industry experience a plus
