Manager of Enterprise Safety & Security

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Safety & Security, the Manager of Enterprise Safety & Security (ESS) is responsible for providing support to field operations of the ESS team and supporting the overall safety and security of members of Covista's global communities. The Manager of Enterprise Safety & Security is responsible for supporting the completion of security assessments, investigations, supporting onsite Event Security and the occasional facilitation of training to internal stakeholders and customers. The Manager of Enterprise Safety & Security will also support the development of policies and procedures, as well as maintaining various department-issued reports and dashboards.

ResponsibilitiesDevelops, plans, and implements security goals, objectives, rules, regulations, and work methods in response to assessment of needs.Manage and oversee security investigations, as assigned.Complete residential security assessments as part of the Executive Security program.Complete visits to Covista and institutional campuses as assigned by manager.Provide onsite security support for company events including coordination with Covista/Institution events planning and development of Event Security plans.Complete Security Risk Assessments and onsite security reviews.Support campus expansion including support in designing/reviewing designs of campus security systems.Maintain the Campus Risk Report, Emergency Response Readiness Dashboard, Business Continuity Readiness Dashboard, and Enterprise Safety and Security Maturity Dashboard.Ensure that all aspects of the Jeanne Cleary Act are adhered to in a timely and proper function.Remain up to date on emerging trends in the fields of public safety, university security, and crime prevention.Ensure that all ESS programs and policies are properly implemented.Support the Incident Commander program for the Covista Enterprise. This will include updating training materials and delivering Incident Commander training.Ensure initiatives align with department goals, and processes/procedures are maintained to meet service and quality standards.Defines strategies, creates a plan to execute and complete business objectives.Respond to safety and crisis related matters/events and provide oversight and services.This position is a designated Campus Security Authority.Performs other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standards
