Job Details
The Technical Application Architect and Lead Developer will lead the Reinsurance Solutions Delivery team, which is responsible for the technical design, implementation, testing and deployment of their reinsurance applications. Tis person is responsible for conducting proof of concepts, designing and documenting the technical architecture of software including the user interface, middleware, microservices, database, file sharing, and API's.
The ideal candidate possesses the following:
10+ years of professional hands-on software development experience
Strong knowledge of .Net Core development, micro-service architecture and API-driven development
Strong knowledge of SQL and/or Azure SQL DB development
Experience with Angular, DevOps processes & tools
Nice to haves:
Python (should have some exposure, enough to be able to read it and make changes for improvement)
This role is for someone local to Chicago. Some weeks the team goes onsite 1x and other weeks they don't go in at all. Willingness to work in office 1x a week a MUST.
