Microsoft Azure Cloud and Microsoft Azure Routing ability.
Networking in the cloud.
Firewalls knowledge both virtual and physical.
Client needs a “Doer”, not an Architect.
They will be working with a CCIE Level Architect.
Implement network solutions for the automated network infrastructure projects.
Implement and maintain a high availability, SDN/Traditional network infrastructure.
Troubleshoot network and network related issues.
Collaborate with other team members on developing new technology solutions.
Work with other teams within the firm to address technological concepts and/or issues.
Proactively monitor the network and provide capacity planning.
Participate in on-call support based on project needs and requirements.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience at a senior network engineering level, with at least 2 years’ experience building and maintaining production network environments.
Consultative experience or desire.
Understanding of the TCP/IP stack.
Understanding of the ISO Telecommunications Management Network model and framework
Experience with multicast and unicast routing protocols (PIMv4-v6, BGPv4, OSPFv4-v6, EIGRPv4-v6, IS-ISv4-v6)
Working knowledge of traditional and SDN/NFV networking concepts
Working knowledge of InfoSec concepts
Knowledge of Cisco Networking.
Experience with firewall administration (e.g. ASA, Check Point, Palo Alto).
Experience with packet capture and analysis tools (e.g. tcpdump, Wireshark).
Experience with deploying and maintaining network management software.
