DescriptionSmall dynamic Real Estate Tax law firm located in Skokie seeks a full-time, career-minded Property Tax Paralegal to join their growing team. Candidate must have experience and knowledgeable in preparing detailed documents to challenge property tax assessments and meeting multiple and simultaneous deadlines before the Assessor's Office, the Board of Review and the Circuit Court. The successful applicant will be familiar with the following:(1) appropriate evidence to support various property valuation claims(2) preparation of case analysis(3) drafting briefs (knowledge in the Income and Sales Comparison Approaches)(4) be conscientious in providing status updates to clients.Experience with Word, Excel and Access a plus. A Paralegal certificate and/or college degree preferred but not mandatory.
